Daily Ocean News Bulletin – 5th December

Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.

Felixstowe Port

Road – Earlier accident on the A14 at Ipswich Copdock, which is also affecting the A12 up to Capel St Mary, light traffic on A12 by Marks Tey, however, currently not affecting movement too much.

Port – At present we are finding there is a lack of VBS on Landguard Terminal, this may have an impact on operations, however, so far we have been able to work around this. Further operational information can be found here.

Vessel – MSC Paloma (Working), MSC Roma (Working), Ever Alp (Working), Key West (Inbound), JSP Anna (Inbound), Navios Indigo (Inbound), MSC Sveva (Inbound), Orion (Inbound), Evelyn Maersk (Inbound), MSC Sena (Inbound).

Weather – No issues to report.

Southampton Port

Road – No Issues to report at present.

Port – Lack of VBS’ this morning, however, we have been able to secure some VBS for the remainder of the day. Further operational information can be found here.

Vessel – CMA CGM Barracuda (Working), Tolten (Inbound), NYK Demeter (Inbound), Cosco Malaysia (Inbound), One Freedom (Inbound), CMA CGM Cendrillon (Inbound), APL Merlion (Inbound).

Weather – No issues to report.

London Gateway Port

Road – Some heavy traffic on the M25 between J5 and J6 due to earlier accident, however at present does not appear to be causing major impact.
