Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.

Felixstowe Port

Road – Very slow traffic on A12 northbound before J33 A1214 / A14 (Copdock Interchange). Reports of accident on A11 near High Bridgham Road (The Heath turn). Very slow traffic on A1 Great North Road southbound at A421 Bedford Road (Black Cat roundabout). Very slow traffic on A421 Great Barford Bypass eastbound before A1 Great North Road (Black Cat roundabout). Queueing traffic on A6 Burton Road / Irthlingborough Road both ways at A510 Thrapston Road / Wellingborough Road roundabout. Slow traffic on A12 southbound from J28 A1341 (Colchester United Football Ground) to J26 A1124 Essex Yeomanry Way (Eight Ash Green / Tollgate interchange), in the roadworks area. Usual slow traffic on A120 at Galley’s Corner. Queueing traffic on A1114 Great Baddow Bypass inbound at the Army and Navy roundabout. Heavy traffic on A127 Southend Arterial Road westbound before A1245 (Fairglen Interchange).

Southampton Port

Road – Queueing traffic on Burgess Road around A33 The Avenue. Delays on M271 northbound at M27 J3. Delays on A32 Fareham Road between Gosport and Fareham. Queueing traffic on Eastern Road northbound at A27 roundabout. A27 westbound exit slip road closed one lane closed, queueing traffic due to car fire at B2149 Park Road South (Langstone roundabout). Queueing traffic for up to 4 mile and one lane closed due to overturned vehicle on A3 northbound between A3(M) Clanfield and Chalton Lane, congestion to the A3(M).   

Port – Port was closed from 03:50 hours to 05:50 hours due to fog. Port is now open but please expect delays on inbound and outbound traffic. Further operational information can be found here.

Vessel – Myny (Complete), Al Nefud (Working), CMA CGM Kerguelen (Inbound), Sheffield (Inbound), Hanni (Inbound), MSC Roma (Inbound), Maersk Bahamas (Inbound), JSP Anna (Inbound), Independent Primero (Inbound), BG Emerald (Inbound), CMA CGM Iskenderun (Inbound), AS Palina (Inbound), HMM Gaon (Inbound).

London Gateway Port

Road – Long delays and queueing traffic for seven miles due to accident, now on the hard shoulder on M25 anticlockwise after J28 A12 (Brentwood / Brook Street roundabout). Congestion for a mile from J30 A13 (Lakeside), also four miles back along the A12 Brentwood Bypass, and delays on Brook Street from Brentwood. Travel time is 40 minutes, all lanes have been re-opened. One lane closed and queueing traffic for one mile due to burst water main on A127 into town at Ardleigh Green Road / Squirrels Heath Road. Stop-start traffic on M25 anticlockwise at the Dartford Tunnels. Slow traffic on M25 clockwise between J5 M26 / A21 (Sevenoaks) and J6 A22 (Godstone). Slow traffic on M25 clockwise between Clacket Lane Services and J6 A22 (n M25 anticlockwise between J21 M1 and J19 A41 (Watford). Delays on A405 North Orbital Road between M1 J6 and B4630 Watford Road (Shell roundabout). Queueing traffic on A10 Great Cambridge Road southbound before M25 J25.
