Daily Ocean News Bulletin – 2nd November

Road – A14 all traffic being temporarily held and stationary traffic due to car fire on A14 Westbound after J52 B1113 Bramford Road (Claydon), Congestion to almost J53 A1156 (Whitehouse Interchange / Ipswich). A12 southbound between the A14 and the junction with the A133, A12 southbound between B1029 and A120 near Colchester (east), A12 southbound between A120 near Colchester (east) and A133, Roadworks. A12 southbound between the junctions with the A120 Colchester West and the A130 Chelmsford North. Emergency roadworks. A12 northbound between the junctions with the A130 Chelmsford North and the A120 Colchester West. Emergency roadworks. A14 westbound between junctions J37 Newmarket West and J32 Histon. A14 westbound within J37, A14 westbound between J33 and J32, Roadworks.

Port – Port had some machinery breakdowns early hours of this morning, and this has had a knock-on effect to shunting operations. Lack of VBS bookings also caused some delays. At present port turn around times seems to be 60 to 75 minutes.
