Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.

Felixstowe Port

Road – Slow traffic on A14 Westbound between J49 (Stowmarket) and J47 A1088 (Woolpit), in the roadworks area. One lane closed due to emergency drainage repairs on A14 Eastbound from J37 A142 Fordham Road (Newmarket / Exning) to J38 (A11 Interchange). Queueing traffic on A120 at Galley’s Corner. Slow traffic on A130 Northbound at A12 Chelmsford Bypass. Slow traffic due to accident on A127 Southend Arterial Road Westbound at A128 Tilbury Road (Halfway House roundabout). Queueing traffic on M25 anticlockwise at J28 A12 (Brentwood / Brook Street Roundabout). Congestion to J29 (Romford/Basildon), in the roadworks area.

Port – Port is experiencing high winds which are affecting operations. Currently we are advised that from Midday the VBS bookings will be restricted through to Midnight. This will cause severe delays to inbound and outbound traffic. Weather also affecting the local container depots. Further operational information can be found here.

Vessel – Ever Aria (Working), Budapest Express (Working), Vilnia Maersk (Working), Marit Maersk (Working), MSC China (Inbound), MSC Vidisha R (Inbound), BG Onyx (Inbound), CMA CGM Barracuda (Inbound), Amina (Inbound), Ever Given (Inbound), MSC Bhavya V (Inbound), CSCL Brisbane (Inbound), Rumba (Inbound).  

Weather – High winds expected from Midday onwards.

Southampton Port

Road – Slow traffic on Winchester Road around A33 Bassett Avenue. Delays on M271 Northbound at M27 J3. M275 Southbound busy but moving at A3 (Rudmore Roundabout).

Port – High winds are affecting the port operations as well as closures at some container depots. Please be aware delays on inbound and outbound traffic maybe affected. Further operational information can be found here.

London Gateway Port

Road – Queueing traffic on M25 anticlockwise at J28 A12 (Brentwood / Brook Street Roundabout), in the roadworks area. Heavy traffic on M25 QE2 Bridge clockwise between J31 A1306 (West Thurrock) and J1A A206 (Dartford). Queueing traffic on M25 clockwise from Clacket Lane Services to J6 A22 (Godstone). Slow traffic on A3 Northbound before M25 J10 (Wisley Interchange). Slow traffic on A245 Byfleet Road Eastbound before A3 (Painshill).  Heavy traffic on M25 clockwise before J15 M4. Slow traffic on A312 The Parkway Southbound before M4 J3. Queueing traffic on M25 anticlockwise before J16 M40 J1A. Queueing traffic on A41 Southbound at M25 J20. Queueing traffic on A405 North Orbital Road between M1 J6 and B4630 Watford Road (Shell Roundabout).
