Daily Ocean News Bulletin – 27th July 2023

Road – A14 No issues to report. A421 Great Barford Bypass Eastbound busy but moving before A1 Great North Road (Black Cat Roundabout). M1 Southbound lane closed on exit slip road due to broken down abnormal load at J14 A509 (Milton Keynes), traffic is coping well. Queueing traffic due to earlier broken-down vehicle on M1 Northbound from J13 (Bedford / Milton Keynes South) to J14 (Milton Keynes), all lanes have been re-opened. A120 Coggeshall Road Eastbound clear before A12 J25. Traffic returned to normal on A120 at Galley’s Corner. A1114 Great Baddow Bypass inbound busy but moving at the Army and Navy roundabout. Slow traffic due to earlier fallen tree on A127 Southend Arterial Road Westbound from Progress Road (Southend-On-Sea) to A129 Rayleigh Road (Rayleigh Weir, Rayleigh), all lanes have been re-opened.

Road – Traffic returned to normal on Burgess Road around A33 The Avenue. M271 Northbound clear at M27 J3. Queueing traffic on A35 Totton Bypass and Redbridge Causeway Eastbound before M271 (Redbridge roundabout), in the roadworks area. Queueing traffic on A31 between A341 (Merley Roundabout) and B3073 (Canford Bottom). A348 Ringwood Road busy but moving between A341 Wimborne Road (Bear Cross Roundabout) and the Fire Station traffic lights in Ferndown. Usual slow traffic on A32 Fareham Road between Gosport and Fareham. Eastern Road Northbound busy but moving at A27 Roundabout. Traffic easing on A27 Chichester Bypass Eastbound from Fishbourne Roundabout to Portfield Roundabout.

Road – Delays on M25 anticlockwise at the Dartford Tunnels. Slow traffic on M25 clockwise from J5 M26 / A21 (Sevenoaks) to J6 A22 (Godstone). Usual congestion on A217 Reigate Hill Southbound from M25 J8 to the one-way system. Queueing traffic on A3 Northbound at M25 J10 (Wisley Interchange). Congestion to Ripley Services, and M25 delays clockwise from Cobham Services, anticlockwise from J11 Chertsey, in the roadworks area. Heavy traffic on M25 anticlockwise around J16 M40. Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise from J21 M1 to J19 A41 (Watford). M25 anticlockwise blocked, long delays due to police incident between J25 A10 (Enfield) and J24 A111 Stagg Hill (Potters Bar). Congestion to J27 M11, but then a gap between J26 and J25 A10, clockwise queues from J22 London Colney / St Albans. Slow traffic on A121 Woodridden Hill between A104 Epping New Road / B1393 / B172 (Wake Arms Roundabout) and M25 J26.
