Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.

Felixstowe Port

Road – Very slow traffic on A12 northbound before J33 A1214 / A14 (Copdock interchange). Slow traffic on A142 Soham road both ways from Stuntney Causeway (Ely) to Barway road (Stuntney), in the roadworks area. Slow traffic on A142 Ely road eastbound before Elean Business Park. Queueing traffic on A10 Ely road southbound from Denny End road to Car Dyke road, in the roadworks area. Usual slow traffic on Trumpington road and Hauxton road northbound from M11 J11 and Trumpington to the centre of Cambridge. Usual slow traffic on Trumpington road and Hauxton road southbound from the centre of Cambridge to Trumpington and the M11 J11. Very slow traffic on A1 Great North road southbound at A421 Bedford road (Black Cat roundabout). Slow traffic on A120 Coggeshall road eastbound before A12 J25. Queueing traffic on A130 northbound at A12 Chelmsford Bypass. Queueing traffic on A1114 Great Baddow Bypass inbound at the Army and Navy roundabout.

Southampton Port

Road – Queueing traffic on Burgess road around A33 The Avenue. Queueing traffic on A33 Bassett Avenue between Bassett Green road (Chilworth roundabout) and Winchester road roundabout. Queueing traffic on A35 Redbridge Causeway eastbound at M271 (Redbridge roundabout), in the roadworks area. A34 southbound busy but moving before M3 J9 (Winnal roundabout). Queueing traffic on Eastern road northbound at A27 roundabout.

Port – Port operating very slow. VBS Bookings a sporadic thought out the day. Our own vehicles are experiencing heavy delays. Further operational information can be found here.

London Gateway Port

Road – Slow traffic on A2 westbound before A2260 Southfleet road (Northfleet / Ebbsfleet turn off). Slow traffic on M25 clockwise between J5 M26 / A21 (Sevenoaks) and J6 A22 (Godstone). Slow traffic on A217 Reigate Hill southbound from M25 J8 to the one-way system. Severe delays and queueing traffic for 13 miles due to earlier accident on M25 clockwise from J8 A217 Brighton road (Reigate) to J10 A3 (Wisley interchange). Congestion to both sides on the A3, back to Burntcommon and Cobham, travel time is 1 hour 30 minutes. Heavy traffic on M25 anticlockwise before J12 M3. Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise between J18 A404 Rickmansworth road (Chorleywood) and J15 M4. Congestion to the M40 northbound, back to the A40 at Uxbridge. Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise between J21 M1 and J19 A41 (Watford). Delays on A405 North Orbital road between M1 J6 and B4630 Watford road (Shell roundabout). Traffic easing on A10 Great Cambridge road southbound before M25 J25. Traffic returned to normal on M25 anticlockwise between J27 M11 and J25 A10 (Enfield).
