Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.

Felixstowe Port

Road – Slow traffic on A137 Wherstead Road Northbound before A14. A12 Northbound busy but moving before J33 A1214 / A14 (Copdock Interchange). A421 Great Barford Bypass Eastbound busy but moving before A1 Great North Road (Black Cat Roundabout). Queueing traffic on A120 at Galley’s Corner. Chelmer Valley Road busy but moving between Essex Regiment Way and Parkway. Slow traffic on A1114 Great Baddow Bypass inbound at the Army and Navy roundabout. Slow traffic on A130 Northbound at A12 Chelmsford Bypass. Slow traffic on A127 Southend Arterial Road Westbound before A1245 (Fairglen Interchange). Traffic returned to normal on A127 London bound from A128 (Halfway House roundabout) to the M25.

Vessel – MSC Erica (Working), Teno (Working), Ever Golden (Working), MSC Roshney V (Inbound), JSP Mistral (Inbound), Mastery D (Inbound), MSC Margrit (Inbound), Henrika Schulte (Inbound), Kota Lagu (Inbound), BG Jade (Inbound), MSC Ditte (Inbound).

Weather – No issues to report.

Southampton Port

Road – Slow traffic on A33 The Avenue inbound from Burgess Road to the city centre. Traffic easing on A33 Bassett Avenue between Bassett Green Road (Chilworth Roundabout) and Winchester Road Roundabout. M271 Northbound busy but moving at M27 J3. Slow traffic on A32 Fareham Road between Gosport and Fareham.

Vessel – Maersk Neston (Working), Al Dahna Express (Complete), Montreal Express (Complete), CMA CGM Barracuda (Complete), Independent Quest (Inbound), Torrente (Inbound), Evridiki G (Inbound), Aurora (Inbound), ONE Innovation (Inbound), NYK Rigel (Inbound), CSCL Neptune (Inbound).

Weather – No issues to report.

London Gateway Port

Road – Delays on M25 anticlockwise at the Dartford Tunnels. A2 London bound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to broken down van from A227 Wrotham Road (Gravesend / Tollgate Services, Gravesend) to A2260 Southfleet Road (Northfleet / Ebbsfleet Turn Off, Northfleet). Slow traffic on M25 clockwise from J5 M26 / A21 (Sevenoaks) to J6 A22 (Godstone). Queueing traffic on A23 Brighton Road Northbound from the M23 to Star Lane (Hooley). Queueing traffic on A3 Northbound before M25 J10 (Wisley Interchange). Queueing traffic on M25 both ways at J10 A3 (Wisley Interchange). Congestion to J9 Leatherhead clockwise, only a mile anticlockwise, A3 queues southbound from Cobham, northbound back to Ripley Services, in the roadworks area. Heavy traffic on M25 anticlockwise before J12 M3. Long delays due to earlier accident on M25 anticlockwise at J14 A3113 Airport Way (Heathrow). Congestion to J17 Maple Cross, adding to the usual delays, travel time is 50 minutes. Heavy traffic on M25 clockwise before J15 M4. Usual slow traffic on A41 Southbound at M25 J20. Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise from J21 M1 to J19 A41 (Watford). Queueing traffic on A405 North Orbital Road between M1 J6 and B4630 Watford Road (Shell Roundabout). Queueing traffic on A10 Great Cambridge Road Southbound before M25 J25. Heavy traffic due to earlier broken-down car on M25 anticlockwise from J26 A121 (Waltham Abbey) to J25 A10 (Enfield). 

Port – Tilbury port has a vessel in and working. VBS Bookings are very busy and currently restricted. This may cause delays to inbound and outbound traffic. All other ports and depots running well. Further operational information can be found here.

NYK Themis (Inbound), Svendborg (Inbound), MSC Palak (Inbound).
