Daily Ocean News Bulletin – 19th December

Road – All traffic being temporarily held and queueing traffic due to accident on M11 southbound from J9A A11 (Saffron Walden) to J8 A120 (Bishops Stortford). Traffic easing on A12 northbound before J33 A1214 / A14 (Copdock Interchange). Slow traffic on A12 southbound from J28 A1341 (Colchester United Football Ground) to J26 A1124 Essex Yeomanry Way (Eight Ash Green / Tollgate interchange), in the roadworks area. Usual slow traffic on A130 Essex Regiment Way inbound from Little Waltham and Little Leighs to Chelmer Valley Road. 

Port – Due to the high winds yesterday the port is working but no VBS Bookings until 09:00 this morning. Some delays are to be expected. Further operational information can be found here.

Road – Queueing traffic on Burgess Road around A33 The Avenue. One lane closed due to broken down car on M27 eastbound from J8 A3024 (Bursledon / Hamble) to J9 A27 Segensworth Link Road (Segensworth / Fareham). Road cleared, fallen tree removed on A32 Wickham Road both ways between A334 Fareham Road and M27 J10 (Wickham). One lane closed due to broken down vehicle on M27 westbound at J11 A27 (Fareham / Gosport). Usual congestion on The A27 around Grove Lodge roundabout.

Port – Shipside operations have been suspended since 00:15 due to high wind at the terminal. No VBS Bookings until 17:00 pm. Delays on inbound and outbound traffic will be expected. Further operational information can be found here.

M20 westbound lane closed on exit slip road due to broken down car at J1 M25 / A20 (Swanley Interchange). Slow traffic on M25 clockwise between Clacket Lane Services and J6 A22 (Godstone). One lane closed due to broken down car on M23 southbound between J8 M25 J7 and J9 (Gatwick Airport). Heavy traffic on M25 anticlockwise before J12 M3. Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise between J17 A412 Denham Way (Maple Cross) and J15 M4. Usual slow traffic on A41 southbound at M25 J20.
