Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.

Felixstowe Port

Road – Usual congestion on A12 northbound before J33 A1214 / A14 (Copdock Interchange). Slow traffic on A12 southbound from J28 A1341 (Colchester United Football Ground) to J26 A1124 Essex Yeomanry Way (Eight Ash Green / Tollgate interchange), in the roadworks area. Slow traffic on A12 Colchester Bypass southbound between J27 A133 / Spring Lane (Avenue of Remembrance roundabout) and J25 A120 (Marks Tey). Usual slow traffic on A120 at Galley’s Corner. Usual slow traffic on A130 Essex Regiment Way inbound from Little Waltham and Little Leighs to Chelmer Valley Road. Heavy traffic on A127 Southend Arterial Road westbound before A1245 (Fairglen Interchange).

Weather – Expecting high winds this morning which may have some port disruption.

Southampton Port

Road – Heavy traffic on Burgess Road around A33 The Avenue. Heavy traffic on A33 Bassett Avenue between Bassett Green Road (Chilworth roundabout) and Winchester Road roundabout. Delays on M271 northbound at M27 J3. Two lanes closed and slow traffic due to emergency repairs on M27 eastbound between J8 A3024 (Bursledon / Hamble) and J9 A27 Segensworth Link Road (Segensworth / Fareham). Delays on A32 Fareham Road between Gosport and Fareham. Queueing traffic on Eastern Road northbound at A27 roundabout. A27 Eastbound closed, queueing traffic due to flooding at A259 Havant Road (Emsworth Junction). Queueing traffic on A338 Bournemouth Spur Road northbound at A31 (Ashley Heath Interchange). Very slow traffic on A31 at A341 (Merley roundabout).

London Gateway Port

Road – Stop-start traffic on M25 anticlockwise at the Dartford Tunnels. One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident, two cars involved on M25 anticlockwise after J11 A320 St Peters Way (Chertsey), congestion to J12 M3. Heavy traffic on M25 anticlockwise before J12 M3. Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise around J16 M40. M25 anticlockwise entry slip road closed; queueing traffic due to overturned truck at J25 A10 (Enfield). Congestion to the A10 either side, back to Cheshunt, and half a mile into Enfield, also heavy anticlockwise back through the Holmesdale Tunnel to J26 (Waltham Abbey).
