Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.

Felixstowe Port

Road  A142 Fordham Road southbound blocked, queueing traffic due to accident from Snailwell Road to A14 J37 (Newmarket / Exning). Very slow traffic on A12 Northbound before J33 A1214 / A14 (Copdock Interchange). Usual slow traffic on Trumpington Road and Hauxton road Northbound from M11 J11 and Trumpington to the centre of Cambridge. Very slow traffic on A603 Barton Road inbound between M11 J12 and The Fen Causeway. Delays of up to 45 minutes and some cancellations on Greater Anglia Northbound between Witham and Colchester due to earlier freight train that broke down at Marks Tey. A12 Northbound closed, queueing traffic due to burst water main and ice from J12 A1023 Chelmsford Road (Mountnessing / Shenfield) to J14 Ivy Barn Lane (Margaretting). Congestion to the M25 J28.

Southampton Port

Road – Heavy traffic on Burgess Road around A33 The Avenue. Long delays and queueing traffic on A35 Redbridge Flyover eastbound from A36 Commercial Road to M271 (Redbridge roundabout). Congestion to the A326, with delays back to Marchwood, in the roadworks area. Traffic returned to normal on M271 Northbound at M27 J3. A3057 both ways closed, slow traffic due to accident and ice between M271 (Romsey turn off, Rownhams) and A27 (Romsey). One lane blocked and queueing traffic due to accident on A31 Westbound after Picket Post Services. Heavy traffic on Eastern Road Northbound at A27 roundabout.

London Gateway Port

Road – Slow traffic on M25 clockwise from J2 A2 (Darenth Interchange) to J3 M20 / A20 (Swanley Interchange). Very slow traffic on A2 London bound before A2260 Southfleet Road (Northfleet / Ebbsfleet Turn Off). Slow traffic on M25 clockwise between J5 M26 / A21 (Sevenoaks) and J6 A22 (Godstone). Slow traffic on A217 Reigate Hill Southbound from M25 J8 to the one way system. Slow traffic on M25 clockwise between Cobham Services and J11 A320 St Peters Way (Chertsey). A3 Northbound clear before M25 J10 (Wisley Interchange). Heavy traffic on M25 anticlockwise before J12 M3. Heavy traffic on M25 anticlockwise from J20 A41 Watford Road (Kings Langley) to a couple of miles after J16 M40. Congestion to the M40 northbound, back to the A40 at Swakeleys Roundabout (Xbridge). Queueing traffic on A41 Southbound at M25 J20. Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise between J21 M1 and J19 A41 (Watford). Stop-start traffic on A405 North Orbital Road between M1 J6 and B4630 Watford Road (Shell Roundabout). Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise between J26 A121 (Waltham Abbey) and J25 A10 (Enfield).
