Daily Ocean News Bulletin – 16th January

Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.

Road – Slow traffic and one lane closed due to accident on A14 Westbound after J52 B1113 Bramford Road (Claydon). Usual slow traffic on Trumpington road and Hauxton road Northbound from M11 J11 and Trumpington to the centre of Cambridge. Very slow traffic on A421 Great Barford bypass eastbound before A1 Great North road (Black Cat Roundabout). Usual congestion on A12 Northbound before J33 A1214 / A14 (Copdock Interchange). A120 Westbound blocked, queueing traffic due to accident from A133 (Hare Green Interchange, Frating) to A1232 (Crown interchange, Colchester). Slow traffic on A12 Southbound from J28 A1341 (Colchester United Football Ground) to Hall Chase (Marks Tey), in the roadworks area. Very slow traffic on A120 at Galley’s Corner. Queueing traffic on A130 Northbound at A12 Chelmsford Bypass.

Road – Usual slow traffic on Burgess road around A33 The Avenue. Delays on A32 Fareham road between Gosport and Fareham. M275 Southbound busy but moving at A3 (Rudmore roundabout). One lane blocked due to flooding on A2030 Eastern road both ways at Burrfields road, traffic is coping well.

Road – Long delays on M25 clockwise between M25 (Romford / Basildon) and J1a A206 (Dartford). Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise between J30 A13 (Lakeside / Purfleet) and J27 M11. Delays on M25 anticlockwise at the Dartford Tunnels. M26 London bound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident, three cars involved before J5 M25 J5. Long delays due to earlier broken-down car on M25 clockwise at J5 M26 / A21 (Sevenoaks). Congestion to J2 A2 (Darenth Interchange), and for eight miles back along the M26. One lane closed due to broken down vehicle on M25 anticlockwise after J6 A22 (Godstone). A217 Reigate Hill Southbound busy but moving from M25 J8 to the one way system. Very slow traffic on A3 Northbound before M25 J10 (Wisley Interchange), in the roadworks area. M25 anticlockwise lane closed on exit slip road, queueing traffic for two miles due to accident at J10 A3 (Wisley interchange). Heavy traffic on M40 Northbound from J1 A40 (Denham roundabout) to J1a M25, congestion to the A40 back to Swakeleys roundabout (Uxbridge). Long delays and queueing traffic for nine miles due to earlier accident on M25 anticlockwise between J19 (Watford) and J18 A404 Rickmansworth road (Chorleywood), congestion to a mile from J22 (London Colney / St Albans), and queues at J19 back to the A41 Hunton Bridge roundabout. Queueing traffic on A41 Southbound at M25 J20. Delays on A405 North Orbital road between M1 J6 and B4630 Watford road (Shell roundabout). One lane closed and heavy traffic due to accident on M25 clockwise before J25 A10 (Enfield).
