Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.

Felixstowe Port

Road  A14 no issues to report. Usual slow traffic on A12 Northbound before J33 A1214 / A14 (Copdock Interchange). Usual slow traffic on A421 Great Barford Bypass Eastbound before A1 (Black Cat Roundabout). Traffic easing on A12 into the roadworks London bound around J26 A1124 (Eight Ash Green / Tollgate Interchange). Usual slow traffic on A1114 Great Baddow Bypass inbound at the Army and Navy roundabout. Slow traffic on A127 Southend Arterial Road Westbound from B148 West Mayne (Dunton Junction, Dunton) to M25 J29 (Romford / Basildon, West Horndon). Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise from J29 A127 (Romford / Basildon) to J28 A12 (Brentwood / Brook Street Roundabout).

Port – Port lost all communications early hours of the morning resulting in the port ceasing operations. This has now been rectified however VBS Bookings have been reduced until 10:00 hours this morning. Currently the port is still very busy, and delays are expected to inbound and out bound traffic. Weather – No issues to report.

Southampton Port

Road – Usual slow traffic on Winchester Road around A33 Bassett Avenue. Usual slow traffic on M271 Northbound at M27 J3. Downend Road Northbound closed to heavy goods vehicles from A27 Cams Hill to Portsdown Hill Road. Usual slow traffic on A32 Fareham Road between Gosport and Fareham. Buses run instead of trains on South Western Railway between Eastleigh and Fareham due to landslip at Hedge End.

Port – Port is very busy and there are no VBS Bookings until 17:00 hours this afternoon. Delays are expected to inbound and out bound traffic. Further operational information can be found here.

London Gateway Port

Road – Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise from J29 A127 (Romford / Basildon) to J28 A12 (Brentwood / Brook Street Roundabout). Usual congestion on M25 anticlockwise at the Dartford Tunnels. Slow traffic on M25 clockwise from J5 M26 / A21 (Sevenoaks) to J6 A22 (Godstone). Buses run instead of trains on Southern between Redhill and Tonbridge due to landslip. Usual slow traffic on M25 approaching the roadworks clockwise before J10 A3 (Wisley Interchange). Traffic easing, earlier broken-down vehicle on M25 anticlockwise after J14 A3113 Airport Way (Heathrow). M25 clockwise busy but moving before J15 M4. Usual slow traffic on A312 The Parkway Southbound before M4 J3. Heavy traffic on M25 anticlockwise between J17 A412 Denham Way (Maple Cross) and J15 M4. Slow traffic on M25 anticlockwise from J21 M1 to J18 A404 Rickmansworth Road (Chorleywood). Usual slow traffic on A405 North Orbital Road between M1 J6 and B4630 Watford Road (Shell Roundabout). Usual slow traffic on A10 Great Cambridge Road Southbound before M25 J25.
