Daily Ocean News Bulletin – 21st December 2023

Road – Speed restriction due to contraflow and resurfacing work on A12 both ways between J26 A1124 (Eight Ash Green / Tollgate interchange) and A12 J25 / A120 / London Road (Marks Tey) Marks Tey. Expect delays. Slow traffic on A138 Chelmer Road both ways at A12 J19 (Boreham Interchange). Heavy traffic on A130 both ways at A12 J17 (Howe Green). Speed restriction of 40 mph and one lane closed due to resurfacing work on A12 both ways between J13 B1002 (Ingatestone) and J16 B1007 Stock Road (Galleywood). Reports of A12 Northbound partially blocked, queueing traffic due to accident from J18 A1060 (Danbury, Sandon) to J19 A130 Colchester Road (Boreham Interchange, Boreham).A14 Westbound exit slip road partially blocked due to lorry having a tyre changed at J50 A1120 (Stowupland). Traffic is coping well. Long-term roadworks and contraflow on A14 both ways from J47 A1088 (Woolpit) to J49 (Stowmarket). Expect delays.

Weather – High winds forecast to stop operations intermittently, but currently working. There are currently very limited existing vbs’s and all other vbs’s have been withdrawn. Disruption and delays expected.

Road – Heavy traffic on M271 Northbound at M27 J3. One lane closed due to broken down vehicle on M27 Eastbound from J8 A3024 (Bursledon / Hamble) to J9 A27 Segensworth Link Road (Segensworth / Fareham). Traffic is coping well. One lane closed due to long-term roadworks on M27 both ways at J8 A3024 (Bursledon / Hamble). Lane closed due to gas main work on A3 at B2039 Ockham Road North (Ockham Park). Elm Lane closed due to roadworks from A3 to Elm Corner. Narrow lanes and speed restriction of 50 mph due to long-term roadworks on A3 both ways at M25 J10 (Wisley Interchange). Expect delays. One lane closed due to roadworks on M3 Northbound from J4 A331 Blackwater Valley Route (Camberley) to J3 A322 (Lightwater / Bagshot). Slow traffic on A34 Southbound before M3 J9 (Winnal Roundabout). Travel time is ten minutes. M3 Southbound closed, long delays due to vehicle fire from J11 A3090 Hockley Link (Winchester South) to J12 A335 (Eastleigh).

Slow traffic on M25 both ways before J10 A3 (Wisley Interchange). In the roadworks area. Slow traffic on A10 Great Cambridge Road Southbound before M25 J25. Travel time is ten minutes. M25 anticlockwise lane closed on entry slip road due to long-term roadworks at J28 A12 (Brentwood / Brook Street Roundabout). Expect delays.
