Your daily update for Felixstowe, Southampton and London Gateway Ports, with the latest news on road and weather conditions, port turnaround times and vessel arrivals.

Felixstowe Port

Road – Long-term roadworks and contraflow on A14 both ways from J47 A1088 (Woolpit) to J49 (Stowmarket). Expect delays. Temporary traffic lights due to long-term roadworks on A15 London Road between A1(M) J16 Norman Cross / Yaxley and Waterslade. Hughes Road both ways closed due to telecoms work from A12 (Higham / Stoke-By-Nayland Turn Off, Holton St Mary) to Hadleigh Road (East Bergholt). Speed restriction due to contraflow and resurfacing work on A12 both ways between J26 A1124 (Eight Ash Green / Tollgate interchange) and A12 J25 / A120 / London Road (Marks Tey) Marks Tey. Expect delays. Speed restriction of 40 mph and one lane closed due to resurfacing work on A12 both ways between J13 B1002 (Ingatestone) and J16 B1007 Stock Road (Galleywood). A14 at Dock Spur roundabout broken down lorry now cleared but backlog of traffic. Expect small delays.

Vessel – Ever Ace (Working), Elbskipper (Inbound), JSP Mistral (Inbound), Cosco Shipping Star (Inbound), W Klaipeda (Inbound), Ef Olivia (Inbound), MSC Hong Kong V (Inbound).

Weather – Weather warning in place at Felixstowe from 1000-1400, port may be closed during this time and VBS’s will be affected.

Southampton Port

Road – A31 Westbound exit slip road closed, one lane closed due to flooding at Burley Services turn off. Traffic is coping well. Speed restriction of 50 mph and two lanes closed due to roadworks on M3 both ways between J9 A34 (Winnal roundabout / Winchester North) and J14 (M27 interchange).

Vessel – CMA CGM Rivoli (Inbound), Toronto Express (Inbound), CMA CGM Constanza (Inbound), Maersk Bahamas (Inbound), NYK Delphinus (Inbound), EM Corfu (Inbound).

Weather – No issues to report.

London Gateway Port

Road – Hughes Road both ways closed due to telecoms work from A12 (Higham / Stoke-By-Nayland Turn Off, Holton St Mary) to Hadleigh Road (East Bergholt). Speed restriction due to contraflow and resurfacing work on A12 both ways between J26 A1124 (Eight Ash Green / Tollgate interchange) and A12 J25 / A120 / London Road (Marks Tey) Marks Tey. Expect delays. Speed restriction of 40 mph and one lane closed due to resurfacing work on A12 both ways between J13 B1002 (Ingatestone) and J16 B1007 Stock Road (Galleywood). A2 Eastbound lane closed on exit slip road to M25 due to broken down vehicle at M25 J2 (Darenth Interchange). One lane closed due to long-term roadworks on A20 both ways at M25 / M20 (Swanley Interchange). Expect delays. On the roundabout. Chalfont Lane both ways closed due to HS2 construction between the M25 and A412 Denham Way. M25 anticlockwise lane closed on entry slip road due to long-term roadworks at J28 A12 (Brentwood / Brook Street Roundabout). Expect delays.
