Operations at China’s two largest ports – Shanghai and Ningbo – have been disrupted due to Typhoon Chanthu, with the cyclone predicted to stay around for the next two-three days.

Our contact in the region has reported the following closures:

Shanghai

Waigaoqiao Terminal – closed from 06:00, 13th September

Ningbo
Meishan, Daxie and Beilun Terminals – closed from 20:00, 12th September

We anticipate vessel delays at both ports in the coming days.
